Why The Need

The Beauty & Wellness industry is one of the highly unorganised sectors i.e 70% according to reports. Moreover, the industry consists of small players who have limited learning opportunities & lack of knowledge of the modern techniques.

On the contrary, the estimated market size of the global beauty industry is around $1.4 Trillion as it is growing at a CAGR of 15% annually over the last 5 years (2017-22). And India stands fourth among the top 5 beauty & wellness markets. With increasing personal spending, the number of beauty centres & expansion of them, the beauty industry is emerging as an on-demand sector.

Employment in the beauty sector is expected to grow at a CAGR of 20%, with 23% in organised and 15% in unorganised segments and with a shift in focus towards quality of service, the industry has been looking to hire skilled labour to sustain growth.

Cosmopolitanism is creating a hospitable environment for the beauty professionals as well as the industry, therefore it is crucial to make the most of this opportunity to help the beauty industry proliferate. Beauty professionals Association (BPRO) is a division of National professionals Associations and Skill Certification Council (NPASCC) a non-governmental voluntary professional global organisation where all beauty professionals, budding beauty professionals, beauty education providers, beauty industry, beauty influencers, beauty brands, salons, spas, beauty clinics, beauty products, manufacturers, distributors, importers, exporters, retailers, media and the beauty industry Investors will come together to take the beauty industry to a new realm .

BPRO is formalising the beauty industry Academic Advancement as per the National Occupational Standards (NOS) and National Vocational Education Qualification Framework (NVEQF), we are advocating work-based lifelong learning opportunities and offer it internationally. recognized, certified, accredited & endorsed beauty training programs. While creating these opportunities we have devised & recommended various beauty programs which includes short term and long term Certificate, Diploma, Advance Diploma, Bachelor of Vocational Studies, Masters and PhD programs. These beauty programs will be conceived by the beauty industry, academia professionals, government bodies, universities, colleges and schools across India and abroad.
